Thank you for your interest in Stella Schola Middle School! We would love to have your child at our school for the next three years! Read about how to apply to Stella Schola Middle School below.
All 5th grade students residing within the Lake Washington School District boundaries are welcome to apply to Stella Schola Middle School. The lottery is held during the student's 5th grade year. Acceptance is determined solely by the district run lottery system so that all who apply have an equal chance to attend. Those who are not chosen will be put on a wait list for a three year period. Maximum enrollment at Stella Schola is 90 students. While the lottery is conducted for incoming 6th graders, older students may apply also, but will be placed on the waitlist behind the original lottery waitlist conducted in the 5th grade.

Accepted applicants must confirm acceptance by completing the registration packet. The registration packet must be received by the Stella Schola office (delivery accepted by hand or via U.S. Mail. No electronic or faxed registration packets will be accepted) by this deadline.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to be sure that all components of the registration packet are turned in. Once families accept placement in a choice school, they will be removed from all other choice school wait lists.
Wait lists will be held through the summer and subsequent three years. Families will be called in turn as openings come up. Families can choose to keep their child on the Stella Schola wait list (if they have not accepted at another choice school) for three years.
